LEED® system
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system is a point based method where projects earn LEED® points for satisfying specific Green building criteria in 6 important areas.

REA’s advanced facade technology adheres to the two major categories of LEED® system viz: Energy & Atmosphere and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ). These two categories account for 32 LEED® point ratings.

We understand the practical parameters related to the designing and construction of green buildings. Our dedicated team of engineers ensures the achievement of maximum energy efficient solutions through sustainable design of facades on high-rise buildings. Our award winning Double Skin Facade technology addresses key issues such as Solar shading, Infiltration, Visual light transmission vs solar gains, integration of high performance facades, AC systems and performance factors related to hot and humid climate.

Estidama is an initiative developed and promoted by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC). The ultimate goal of Estidama is to preserve and enrich Abu Dhabi’s physical and cultural identity, while creating and improving the quality of life of its residents. Estidama is rests on four equal pillars of sustainability; environment, economic, social and cultural.

The Pearl Building rating System (PBRS) promotes the development of sustainable buildings through an inter-disciplinary approach known as Integrated Development Process. A sustainable building requires both Estidama and PBRS to be completely functional. The PBRS encourages water, energy and waste minimization, usage of local material and improvisation of the supply chain for sustainable and recycled products.

REA’s facade solutions comply with all these requirements of PBRS and the Estidama process by adhering to energy efficiency, indoor thermal comfort, recycled material/ products and effective supply chain.
