  • Approved Architectural Drawings, Structural Drawings and Specifications
  • Site Establishment of the main contractor
  • Access route to the site for delivery and special vehicles
  • Location of site storage areas and sizes (short/long term)
  • Cranes, Hoist size, location and capacity
  • Schedule of cranes, hoist time and availability, free and interrupted use of tower cranes
  • Vehicle/ passenger goods hoist to permit distribution of materials and personnel to floors
  • Protection of work between substantive completion and practical completion of work
  • Size and allocation of site offices
  • Safety Regulation from main contractor for site activities
  • Site power Supply layout and specifications

All architectural designs are validated by the REA by performing necessary tests on mock-up samples. These tests are conducted by third parties in front of a representative from the client. As facade specialists, REA's Technical and Engineering team reviews the project specification and testing requirements. A selected Independent Testing Agency prepares a Method Statement which is reviewed by the client's representative. Installation of the sample elements is conducted at an Independent Testing Laboratory and is arranged and monitored by REA's Technical and Engineering team, Installation team and QA/QC Test Coordinator. The tests are recorded and reports are prepared accordingly.

REA's QA/QC and Installation Team review project specification for field testing requirements. The testing is facilitated in collaboration with a client representative. REA provides Method statements for the testing, approved by the client representative. Either REA QA/QC Test Coordinator or the Independent Testing Agency carry out the tests in accordance to the approved Method statement, Inspection and Test plans and internationally recognized standards. The test report is prepared either by the Test Coordinator or the Independent Testing Agency.
