One of our most important core values is people and ensuring their health and safety is our prime objective. Reem Emirates Aluminium is dedicated to providing Heat Stress Awareness program to its employees.

This summer REA successfully conducted the Heat Stress Awareness session at the SARAYA project site with the attendance of REA’s management team. During the course of the event, water bottles and refreshments were distributed among the site workers. Eng. Naser Almarzooqi, the General Manager and Fernando Arulfo, the QA/QC Manager spoke on the importance of staying hydrated especially in harsh climate conditions. All REA site staff were ensured of the availability of drinking water, electrical fans and lemon juice to replenish body fluids and to keep them away from dehydration.

This program has been initiated to emphasise on the importance of health and safety and is being carried out on other REA project sites as well as in the factories. The program will be continually implemented and improved next year.
