Promoting Healthy Work Culture at REA

Breakfast with the GM successfully gathered a number of employees of different departments, Promoting a healthy culture at work. The breakfast was inaugurated with opening remarks by the GM, who gave a brief introduction of the meeting outlines and warmly welcomed the participants.
Open & close discussion with the employees promoting communication and team work between different departments sharing experiences in a healthy positive environment discussion shared about challenges, solutions and suggestions from the employees. During the breakfast GM took the employees through REA objectives for 2016, also he went through 2016 individual department objectives emphasizing delivering projects on time and continue monitoring our customer service and quality standards. The breakfast was followed by a lively discussion and Q & A session lead by the GM, The audience actively raised questions and expressed their views. In addition suggestions were raised from the employees about supply chain management, utilization of TBMS, build smart systems and cost control.
Jasmin Prado - Quantity Surveyor said: "It’s been helpful for all departments to have good communication to help each department in understanding the expectations of the management, we were able to share what is required to improve the work, The discussion was very interesting and to-the-point "
Abdullah Ghafar - Purchase Officer said: "The agenda was  to promote a healthy working culture between departments and to improve performance of each department, the open discussion of new ideas and suggestion gave us an in depth knowledge and better understanding of how we can improve operations, it gives us confidence and  a better understanding of our responsibility towards our objectives and our GM’s vision.
The event was concluded with closing remarks by the GM, This event was a great success with lots of positive feedback.


2016 has been a successful year for REA as we would like to take this moment to highlight some of our outstanding achievements.

Our most telling achievement was growth of the company from 1,988 employees reaching 2,502 employees, with an increase of 514 which strengthen REA’s capabilities and capacity to deliver the increase number of our projects.

Reem Emirates Glass division of REA have undertaking major production uplift by successful installation of a new (DGU) Double Glass Unit & Tempering Line facilities; which has enabled the firm to achieve 100% production capacity.

In order to diversify our products lines REG have successfully installed Ceramic Fritting Glass machine to fulfill all printing glass requirements in-house and improve the supply chain cycle on glass products.
