Job Purpose: Assemble, Install, Repair and Maintain Cradles, Winch Machines, Kito Machines, Electrical Chain Hoists, Glass Suckers, Power Tolls and other Electrical Appliances, Apparatus and Fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, cradles and other site equipment’s, using hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Installation of new cradles and preventive.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system

Education/Qualification: ITI or Equivalent (Electronics/electrical/instrumentation).

Work Experience: 02+ years of experience in Maintenance operations in similar field.

Knowledge: Cradle Maintenance & Repairing, Electrical general knowledge

Skills:

  • Perform skilled electrical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, and installation of equipment’s.
  • Effective written communications skills
  • Time management skills

Contracts Manager-CM-REA/01

Job Name: Contracts Manager-CM-REA/01

Company: Reem Emirates Aluminum LLC, Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose:

Contract Review, Contractual Correspondence, Change Order Management, Claims and safeguarding company interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge and application of Construction Contracts in their administration, together with advising on good construction techniques with their application for the benefit of the Company.
  • Review of all relevant Site correspondence and implementation of all necessary steps in protection of the Company's commercial interests.
  • Prompt and clear identification/summary of all commercial risks, together with providing suitable and timely advice to the PD/PM and other Senior Management in the avoidance/mitigation of unnecessary additional expense to the Project, as well as advice on most appropriate course of action.
  • Review and Final approval of all Monthly Interim Progress Payment Applications including VO accounts, EOT claims and additional monies to ensure provision of all substantiated documentation to maximize cash flow.
  • Review and Final approval with PD/PM of monthly Commercial Report in conjunction with Site Contracts Team and monitoring of projected Cash flows with Project Planner.
  • Attending all/any Site Progress meetings and Contractual / Commercial discussions with the Engineer/Employer whenever and wherever required.
  • Review and liaison with Technical & Procurement Departments on all Supplier and Subcontract Agreements together with the provision of Project specific advice to encompass all contractual requirements.
  • Ensuring all measures are taken to avoid unnecessary contractual disputes.
  • Maintain an overview of contractual key dates / milestones particularly where relevant to Liquidated Damages.
  • Preparation of Principle Project specific and contractual Extension of Time and Claims' presentations, narratives and evaluations including detailed delay analysis.
  • Resolving all/any contractual issues with Main Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers while liaising with Project Team.
  • Support the Construction / Project Managers in the specialized area of contractual matters.
  • Evaluate risks of tender conditions on contractual and costing matters for discussion. Issue a risk evaluation report prior to the sign off on the contract
  • Support the close-out of contracts and maintain overview list.

Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
  • Quantity Surveyor/ MRICS.

Skills & Experience: Minimum 9+ years of hand on experience.

Quantity Surveyor-QS-REA/01

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Documentation of Contracts and Commercial Files
  • Initiating Change Order Management and Maximization of company entitlements
  • Ensure submission and follow up of Advance Bank Guarantees and Performance Bank Guarantees on the project on due dates
  • Timely preparation of all Interim Payment Applications, Variation Orders and Extension of Time Claims
  • Attending Site Commercial Meetings
  • Assisting Project Managers in all contractual procedures and maintaining all logs for all projects
  • Coordinate the preparation of project site budget
  • Coordinate the preparation of projected cash flow of all projects
  • Administer Sub-Contractors and supplier’s registration, approval and termination
  • Work closely with time scheduler to review progress and delays etc.
  • Prepare, submit and carry out the close-out of contracts and maintain overview list

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Costing & Financial Systems

Skills: All Quantity Surveying related function, Auto-cad and Microsoft Office

Job Purpose:

Project coordinator’s function is to support the Project Manager facilitating activities between each department. The coordinator is to analyze the program schedule and ensure all activities between each department are accomplished as per the program. Any items that are not met per program date, the coordinator raises highlight the delay and works with the project manager as well as all responsible parties for mitigating the delay. Must have knowledge of local supplier’s. Must be technically sound in the design and fabrication of different aluminum and steel systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To follow up with factory/ suppliers/ subcontractor that all deliveries of materials are took place and occurred according to the site requirement schedule.
  • To coordinate between Project Managers and all other departments that all information / updated issues / orders and logistics are well going smoothly and as per the time frame.
  • Responsible to coordinate with site supervisor on progress work, with minimum supervision by superior.
  • Implementing the agreed action plan to the agreed standards and deadlines.
  • Ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings and production of all necessary documentation.
  • Assisting Project Managers and site personnel on all his assignment.

Education/Qualification: University Degree in Engineering earned at reputable University.

Work Experience: 5-10 years

Knowledge: MS Office, MS Projects, knowledge of FIDICC.

Skills: MS Office/AutoCAD/Project Planning

Design Team Leader -DTL/REA/03

Job Name: Design Team Leader -DTL/REA/03

Company: Reem Emirates Aluminum LLC, Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to DM with respect to all project related and engineering matter and will work as integrated team ensuring proper information/coordination flow.
  • To prepare drawing register.
  • Preparation of Drawing Submittal Plan in accordance with the system design and or location of project.
  • To ensure preparation of Shop Drawings, Fabrication Material Schedules, Production schedules and production drawings in accordance with project specification & approved materials.
  • Co-ordinate with Structural Engineering Manager/Structural Engineer on systems calculations.
  • To study / understand Design Plan and Production Order Release Plan as detailed in Material Requirement Plan.
  • To understand Projects Specification and qualified offer.
  • To review tender drawings previously used by Commercial Department against construction drawings and report any changes / variation to DM / TM.
  • Ensure design shown in Shop Drawings is achievable in regard of using standard / available sections, easy to fabricate / install by way of coordination with concerned production & installation teams.
  • To check all shop drawings and ensure all components are correct and all information is available for easy / correct allocation of material.
  • To ensure shop drawings are done in accordance to “Issue for Construction” drawings, Architectural & Structural, issued by Main Contractor.
  • To help / train his team to understand all phase / components to ensure minimum number of drawing revisions. Maximum target is 2 (two) revisions.
  • To report to Design Manager in case of any design problems and highlight any concerns in achieving targeted design plan / production orders release plan.
  • Coordinate with site team in case of any queries changes during installation.
  • To record any changes from design during installation in order to include in AS-BUILT DRAWINGS.
  • Ensure optimization is done with assistance of materials department.
  • Co-ordinate the interface details with the Project Manager.
  • To report to Technical Manager / Design Manager any variations either positive or negative that occurs during design.
  • Prepare die components list for every project.
  • Ensure production drawings are done in time as per agreed plans.
  • Checking all production drawings and ensure that it is in accordance with approved shop drawings, site measurement, factory capabilities, and easy site fixing.
  • Plan release of production components with coordination of factory lead time to ensure smooth assembly and delivery to site, ensure components with long lead time are released first for production.
  • To control release of works orders and to highlight any scope of work not covered in BOQ.
  • To ensure all work done by his team is checked before released to production.
  • To answer all non-conformity reports.
  • Coordinate with Material Co-coordinator for supplier technical details of supplied products.
  • To ensure that using the network folders structure as explained is effectively used and maintained by his team for easy finding of drawings / reference.

Education/Qualification: University Degree Engineering/ Architectural earned at reputable University.

Experience: Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Façade and 2-3 years as Design Team Leader

Skills: Team work, Time management, Attention to detail, Optimum use of resource

Knowledge: Windows, MS office- Excel, AutoCAD
